Step 1. Scan your NFC tag for Instructions!
Congrats! You've done it!
Step 2. Get yourself an App
For iOS: there is built-in features in the Shortcuts App
For Android: download NFC Tools (or any similar app of your choosing)
These apps will allow you not only to read NFC tags but also WRITE to the tag.
Step 3. Write your link to your tag!
Use your desired phone app to WRITE your link/social/task/etc. to your purchased tag.

It can be whatever you choose. After you have done this, the tag will no longer redirect here, but rather to YOUR LINK. I suggest testing the tag after using the app to make sure it's working appropriately.
And that's about it! You've done it!

Caution: There is sometimes an option to make the tag "read-only" or "locked", do this at your own discretion, as it may make the tag no longer editable in the future.

To execute more complicated tasks, sometimes another app is required (like Tasker). For anything like that, please search up more detailed information on your search engine of choice.

My apartment's WIFI password for friends who visit!

And last but not least! I have a tag on my dog's collar for just in case he gets lost!
It links to a page on my website with information on him. There are many free one-page website builders out there that are a great option for this!

He is microchipped, however! Only vets and animal shelters have readers normally, this extra precaution allows for any person who finds him to be able to contact me directly much faster!
Keep PRIVACY in mind
Caution: If you use this tag for a pet of your own. BE CAREFUL what information you put on the tag. Only put info you are comfortable with STRANGERS having.
Aka, do not put your full name and address or other means for someone to find you.

A first name, and phone number and/or e-mail should be more than enough for them to get in contact with you quickly. Better yet an e-mail specifically for your pet linked back to your personal e-mail is even better. Possible free/WhatsApp numbers (or something similar) is also a possiblility if privacy is a large concern!
Extra Pet Info
If this is for your pet!
Consider adding a little information for the finder, that is relevant.

For example. My dog is allergic to chicken, among many other things. So I put:

"FOOD Allergies. Please do not feed."

"Resource guarding."
-
"Leash reactive with other dogs."
-
"Very friendly with people, but will jump up, could knock over small children."

This way, a good Samaritan has some extra information straight away to keep themselves and your pet safer while you are on your way to go get your furry friend!
